The Cydheans
In some old wiki discussion posts on the name of "the humans" (one of the empires/cultures) the name "Cordaliets" and "Cydheans" were both thought positively of. Personally, I like the Cydheans better now. It seems to stick a little better than the Cordaliets, although I'm sure we can use such a creative name as that someplace else in Emathar.
I'm thinking the Cydheans would be the "main empire/culture" of humans in Emathar. What do you think?

Re: The Cydheans
I think something as long the lines of Caedhyn (pl. of Caedhon 'a man of art' or some other meaning) would fit better with the language I've worked out a bit.
What do you say?

I don't mind. How do you pronounce "Ceadhon"? side-han? side-hone? Maybe instead of "man of art" you could make it to say "man of skill"? It could be when people use to differentiating between artisans and... losers. like, "He's a real Ceadhon, unlike that bum over there"

Keye-thon. The th is softer ( like in the word 'the'). Skill seems like a fine meaning to me.

Okay. Singular is Caedhon and plural is Ceidhyn.
Sound good?
So we would say 'the Ceidhyn' rather than 'the Caedhons' or 'the Ceidhyns'.

UPDATE: The names of the human cultures are still undecided. As of right now, we are referring to the two branches by the English translations of their names.
